This article aims more on the real psychological and biological issues within the ‘T’ part of the ‘LGBTQ+’ and other related issues. Studies, statistics, and logical conclusions with a fair pair of science/critical thinking and emotions will also be provided in this article, as well as the sources & references.
The following points will be explained at the bottom of this page (click ℹ️ for the source):
Some people try to interpret gender as something in the brain, and sex as something in biology, but in reality, the brain is part of biology. It is biological; thus it’s logically flawed to say gender is different from sex. Since gender is the things that we associate with those sexes based on the traits, roles, and preferences that the majority of people of that sex show.
The man who invented gender reassignment tortured a boy by botched circumcision by trying to raise the boy as a girl, the boy eventually commit suicide along with his brother. I do not think this is the type of person we should be learning from. ℹ️
People who are intersex have a birth defect. Their reproductive organs don’t form properly during fetal development. It is almost impossible for hermaphrodites to reproduce. They have a mixture of both but most often, neither of them are properly developed. This is why it is a defect and not a gender. It is quite literally an error during fetal development.
Historically, clinicians more commonly treated transgender kids by discouraging cross-gender identity. For decades, follow-up studies of transgender kids have shown that a substantial majority ━ anywhere from 65% to 94% ━ eventually ceased to identify as transgender.
The theory that some people start with a “trans fetish” then develop gender dysphoria could have some logic behind it. Adolescent and adult males with late-onset gender dysphoria frequently engage in transvestic behavior with sexual excitement. Habitual fetishistic transvestism developing into autogynephilia is given as a risk factor for gender dysphoria to develop.
Body Integrity Identity Disorder (BIID) describes a phenomenon in which physically healthy people feel the constant desire for an impairment of their body. The other main disorder in this respect is Gender Dysphoria.
There are many examples of social issues but major ones would be the biological advantages and disadvantages the other person has in Olympics where a transgender person competes. ℹ️
Sex change is physically impossible, it frequently does not provide the long-term wholeness and happiness that people seek. Statistically, significant improvements have not been consistently demonstrated by multiple studies for most outcomes. ℹ️
An example is the use of the word ‘Latinx’ to make it gender-neutral. The term is completely unpronounceable in Spanish, “Latino” is already gender-neutral in Spanish. The term is largely pushed by white Americans against the will of the Latino community in the US. Only 3% of Latinos in the US identify with the term.
Unfortunately, many professionals now view health care—including mental health care—primarily as a means of fulfilling patients’ desires, whatever those are. Two effective solutions would be traditional therapeutic intervention, WPATH Standards of Care, and/or other therapeutic intervention.
